What is lifestyle newborn & family photography?
My approach to capturing your family can be described as lifestyle photography. Lifestyle photography refers to creating connection and movement during your session experience without the use of props and confining poses. Lifestyle newborn and family photography provides authentic moments, captured in your home, outdoors, or studio. Instead of just smiling looking at the camera, you are holding your children, playing with them, and creating memories with your family during the session.

After you book your family or newborn session with me, you can expect to receive a session prep guide, a contract, a client questionnaire, and wardrobe consultation including style inspired collages. Also, a pre-session phone call is included. I love the opportunity to chat with my clients about how their session will evolve, what rooms in their home will work best, and answer any questions you might have.

It's important to me that you feel prepared for your session! After we're all squared away and set to plan your session, I will reach out to schedule a time to chat via FaceTime, Zoom, Marco Polo, text, or email.
In this informal chat, we'll discuss how your session will flow, what you and your family can expect, and how you can best be prepared for the experience.
session day + gallery delivery
During your session, I will follow your child's lead. Whether your child is energetic and ready to play or is more reserved and quiet, I have little tricks and games I have collected over the years of working with children and photographing families. The magic will happen - I promise!
After your session, you can expect to have your gallery delivered to you within 3 weeks. Every gallery includes rights to download and print your images.

- 60-70 minutes of shooting time.
- Images with be a mixed of posed and candid.
- Several whole family groupings, mom and children, dad &children, siblings, and individuals of each child.

- 60-75 minutes of shooting time.
- Photographs will focus on your newborn and your family's interaction with your new baby.
- You will be holding your newborn the majority of the session.
- Close-ups of your newborns features will be an important component.
- Images will include your family, siblings, and even pets!
- A gallery of +50 edited images and print credit to my gallery shop.

Questions & Answers
What if my kids can't sit still for a 60-minute session?
Oh goodness, neither could I! If you choose a newborn or family session, we are moving around, playing games, exploring, giggling, and maybe even dancing!
styling outfits isn't my thing. do you have a client closet?
I do not have a client closet, however I will provide you with ideas and inspiration, including collages that will help you coordinate outfits for your whole family.
How long will it take to receive my gallery?
