Deciding how to display family photos does not have to be complicated.
After you finally got everyone on board for family pictures, you prepared for your session, you had a wonderful session experience, received your beautiful gallery of images, there is one more step that most people skip….PRINT YOUR PHOTOS.
I have a confession, I just now printed our family’s photographs from our beach session TWO summers ago. I totally get it. If you were like me, it was I will get that next month, then the next month, and then well, you get the picture.
Printing your family’s photographs does not have to be complicated. I have discovered my favorite ways to print our family photos and I wanted to share with you what has worked for me!
My favorite ways to print photographs
- Artifact Uprising. This is probably one of my favorite ways to display family photos. I have been a customer of Artifact Uprising for years. One particular print they offer is my favorite. It’s the square prints and stand. I love being able to rotate casual pics of our family throughout the year. Also, these prints are printed on a heavyweight matte paper that really stands the test of kid’s fingerprints. One of my favorite ways to display extra prints is in a large bowl. Everyone loves to flip through the photographs and reminisce. My print shop connected to my client galleries also creates similar style prints.
- Mpix. I continue to recommend Mpix to my clients. I still use Mpix to print images sent to me from family members or phone pics. They have good image quality and a good price point to order multiple copies and gift to grandparents.
- My Gallery. Guys, I have a new gallery service, PicTime. It creates the BEST photographs and print products straight from your gallery. It is so easy to use. They even have holiday cards for you to choose from. I am so excited to offer this option for you. Let’s keep it simple and order straight from your gallery!
- Chatbooks. Finally, this is the one printing service I have not used, BUT I hear it is a great way to print and collect multiple photographs throughout the year. It is simple to compile albums for your family to enjoy. These work well with images you collect on your smartphones.
Finally, no matter how you decide to enjoy your photos, having actual physical prints for your family to enjoy is extremely valuable. From phone pics to professional pics, let your children and you see the themselves in your home, see how they’ve grown, see how they’ve changed, and see how special they are in your eyes!
