Are mini sessions good for extended families?

No, mini sessions are not the option for extended families. Extended family sessions are unique sessions. I only offer extended family sessions to my former clients.  The pricing is unique to their family make-up…number of members, number of children, location, etc. If you want to schedule an extended family session, please send me an inquiry, do not book through the mini session booking link.

Can we just have a fall mini session of our newborn?

No, mini sessions are for family units. If you have a newborn, of course, I will take pictures of you all together. However, a mini session is not a substitute for a true newborn session. That sweet season of having a newborn needs more time. You want to capture all of their little details and your connection with your newborn.

I really want to use one of the photographs for our Christmas card, is your posing different with family mini sessions?

With mini sessions, there is a limited amount of time. I start off most mini sessions with ‘everyone look at me’ pose, then we will progress to more playful poses and poses that incorporate movement.

How many images will I get from a mini session?

Mini sessions result in 15 edited images. This year, you will have the option to upgrade your gallery to include all edited images for an additional cost.

Do you offer outfit styling for mini sessions?

I do not provide wardrobe consultation with mini sessions. However, you will find lots of outfit inspiration on my Instagram feed, including highlights dedicated to wardrobe combinations and blog posts on my website.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the weather forecast is looking ominous, I will reach out to you the 1-3 days before your session and we will make the decision together to reschedule your session.

I really want a mini session, but my family’s schedule does not align with your offerings. Do you offer alternative dates?

Maybe. It depends on when you are requesting your session. You are welcome to email me your date suggestions. If I have space, I will make accommodations.

Can I make a special location request?

Yes, but I might not be able to make an accommodation based on my schedule. If you have a special location request, please email me and I will do my best to offer you alternate date and location. Also, some locations require a photography fee such as the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, which would be added to your mini session price. If your location is outside of the Fort Worth area an additional travel fee is a possibility.
