When you are thinking about scheduling your newborn photos, I prefer to have them when your baby is between 4-6 weeks. Newborn photography isn’t just for the first two weeks of your babies life. I do not use any type of pose/prop system which are usually used to capture very new, newborns. Babies at 4-6 weeks have already developed unique qualities, such as more alert expressions and their growing personality is starting to shine. The perfect thing about a lifestyle newborn session is, it creates a showcase of these natural heartwarming moments.

It might sound like a total farce, but photography sessions can be relaxed and low stress. My approach as a lifestyle photographer, is to communicate with you prior to your session regarding outfits, areas in your home we can use, and what we will be doing your session. There are very few surprises at my session, because I love to plan! Truly, there is no magic window for newborn pictures. I always tell my families, the magic time is when it is the best time for your family.
