I will guide you and prompt you, but the best magic occurs when your family gets lost in the activity and your children are themselves. If your children are more silly, then we will tickle toes, climb furniture and play games. If your child is more serious, we will snuggle, read books, look out the window, and whisper silly sayings to each other. 

Tips for Preparing Your Home

Prior to your session, we will have a brief phone and discuss the areas in your home that receive the most natural light. This allows you to plan for those areas we will use. No need to make your entire house spotless. All that is needed is a tidying up of the spaces. Remove excess clutter, including plastic type bins or organizers, papers, and extra toys. You will open all of your window coverings and we will have a cozy space ready for your session. Simple touches such as adding a textured throw, lighting candles, lighting the fireplace, will all add ambiance to your images.
