Mini  Session Guide

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to work with you!  I have created a brief prep guide to help you prepare for your session. The most important thing to remember during your family photography session is to just smile, no matter how crazy things might feel. It will be great!

Please, be true to yourself and wear colors and styles you love. Usually, those are the items that coordinate with your home's decor style. If you love pops of color, muted neutrals, or a crisp classic style, then go with your instinct. These photographs are for you and will be enjoyed for years to come.  I use lots of movement during sessions. Be prepared for standing, sitting, and who knows...dancing! Please have young girls wear bloomers under dresses.

A few tips!

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early.
  • Be patient, trust me, it will be great!
  • Let your kids have a snack beforehand.
  • If possible, limit screens on the way to your session.

  • Start with your outfit first.
  • Choose clothes you feel comfortable moving in.
  • Keep your color pallet to 3-4 colors.
  • Add details such as light layers and accessories; like earrings, bracelets, & necklaces.
  • Textures and incorporating patterns are great.

The Experience

A little bit posed and a little bit natural, is how I describe my sessions. I am always looking for the best light to put your family in and I will make sure you are look beautiful & relaxed.

I will manage your children and spouse. You get to show up and love on your family and I will capture authentic, candid moments.
